What heavy equipment asks of a warehouse

Machines do not arrive on pallets. They arrive in containers, and the first thing they need is somebody with the floor space and the equipment to get them out of the box. After that they wait, because a mini excavator is built to a factory production plan and sold through a dealer network running on a completely different clock.

Devanning is the first job

Containers come in at Zeebrugge, we drive or lift the machines out ourselves and put them straight into the warehouse. No transfer to a second site, no double handling, and the empty box goes back the same day instead of running up demurrage while somebody looks for a forklift big enough.

Bonded, until a dealer actually buys it

A machine built outside the EU can sit in our bonded warehouse in Zeebrugge with duty and VAT suspended for as long as it takes to sell. You clear one unit at a time, on the day it is invoiced, instead of paying an entire container in at the quay and waiting to get it back.

Weight and shape, not pallet count

Heavy equipment is measured in tonnes per square metre, not in pallet spaces. Complete machines, crated attachments, steel, cladding and banded building materials each want a different answer: racking for what palletises, open floor for what is too heavy or too large, and handling equipment rated for it.

Out to the dealer network from one address

With 120 tractors and 220 trailers of our own, delivery from Zeebrugge into dealers across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France is our own work rather than a subcontract. It also makes FCA Zeebrugge a workable incoterm: the factory hands over at our gate, and everything after that is one partner.
